Advanced Placement Courses are college level classes that you can take in high school. When you are taking an AP course, there is an AP exam that goes with it. These exams happen in the spring of the school year, and the cost is $98 per exam which minimal yearly cost changes. Depending on your score and the college you plan to attend, it may count as college credit. Please see the official AP Credit Policy here! These exams will be scheduled for the two weeks in May. It is another great way to get ahead on your college workload!
The process begins by talking to your core subject teachers about what options are available for the next school year. Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year there are opportunities to take AP classes. When you meet with your school counselor for course registration, talk to them about the AP options.
