Current Events
Current Events will be due every DAY 4 (D).Each assignment is worth 10 points. Students can earn up to two possible bonus points for explaining the main points of the article and defending their position in front of the class and the teacher, but are not guaranteed those points if they do not present a proper argument or complete the assignment on time.

*ALL CURRENT EVENTS ARE DUE AT THE START TIME OF YOUR CLASS.*
Each Current Event is worth 10 points. Students will have the option to earn up to two (2) bonus points each assignment if they stand in class and present their article. They must give the title/topic of their article, explain it (in their words) and provide their opinion. Students must also be able to answer questions that may come up regarding the article's contents or subject matter.
