SCHOOL BASED COUNSELING

School based mental health programs help identify children and teens in need of mental and behavioral health services. Through these school based programs, children and adolescents are able to receive a free assessment to help with proper recommendations to local counseling agencies and other outside resources.

**Currently this is not an option**

HOWEVER- Bellefonte Area School District is in the process of partnering with an outside agency to assist more with school based counseling here in our district.
