In basic terms, we do two things:
Characterize environmental problems
Develop ecological engineering solutions to those problems
We aim to do these things in underserved regions with disadvantaged populations, domestically and abroad. Most often, our work revolves around water quality.
Hosted at the University of South Carolina Baruch Marine Field Lab (Georgetown, SC), we focus on applied science and bridging our findings to application, particularly in our region. Our goal is to guide the next generation of ecological engineering solutions for coupled water quality and habitat protection.
