TIA Team Roles & Responsibilities
TIA Lead: Lacey Cruddas & Katie Mullins
Communicate spending plan, application status and progress to the school board
Work with business office to create/modify spending plan as needed
Oversee the submission of data validation and expansion/modification applications
Meet with campus leadership and staff regularly to share insights and Navarro specific details about TIA
Train staff on Bartlett's TIA application and implications
Work in conjunction with Coordinator and CAO to determine teacher ratings
Ensure calibration amongst principals of TTESS ratings
Attend TEA and Rural Cohort trainings
Complete and submit applications via the TIA portal (Initial/Modification)
Complete data validation submission
Create BISD scorecards for each staff member eligible for TIA
Assist with creation of local assessments for growth measures
Meet with campus administration regularly to ensure alignment of district message and understanding
Answer TIA related questions from staff members/principals
Seek guidance from TEA and Region 13 Rural School Cohort
Work in collaboration with business office to create/modify spending plan
Create/update district TIA webpage
Attend TEA and Rural Cohort trainings and disseminate information
Collaborate with the team to train staff on NWEA, Eduphoria

Alignment of HQIM assessments to meet the needs of teachers and assist them in targeting skills to hit growth measures
Collaborate with the team to create local assessments
Assist with data validation process and submission
Assist with application submittal and review
Communicate with the Superintendent about updates related to TIA and academics
Attend training from TEA and Rural Cohort and disseminate information
Acquire and allocate funding for TIA related materials (TEKSready, iCEV)
Engage stakeholders in decision-making conversations
Work with campus administration on communication of scorecards to staff (how/when)
Work with Academic Services Team to train teachers on how to understand the TIA application and how scores will be calculated

Collaborate with the team to assist in the development of local assessments for content areas utilizing this instrument
Meet with teachers regularly to disaggregate student growth data and look for target areas aligned to TIA goals
Train staff on the use of TIA growth metrics (NWEA, Eduphoria, TEKSready, etc.)
Model best practices and align to TTESS rubric focusing on domains 2 and 3 and the impact on TIA
Create academic scope and sequences for that allow ample time for content to be taught in the academic calendar
Ensure a plan is in place for preassessments to be taken within the first 6 weeks of instruction
Provide professional development on how to score ECR and SCR for non ELAR teachers so scores are accurately reflected in Eduphoria
Attend training from TEA and Region 13 Rural Cohort

Attend and/or send a representative to attend all financial TIA trainings through TEA and Region 15 Rural Cohort
Work collaboratively on the TIA spending plan
Ensure that payments are made to staff in a timely manner and in accordance with TIA application
Submit payment for teachers being put forth for TIA designation
Ensure the 10% retained by the district is spent in accordance with the stipulations of the plan

Solidified plan for ensuring all preassessments are completed within the first 6 weeks on instruction
Calibration of TTESS across all campuses (cross campus walkthroughs)

Alignment of course offerings to ensure validity of data
Opportunity and access - Master Schedule
Check coding of staff and verify 087s
Work in collaboration with Human Resources to determine if staff who have been on extended leave meet the required attendance to be eligible
Follow district assessment calendar for testing windows
Create a plan early for staff who are struggling to meet growth targets and/or are not performing well on TTESS
