The BCMS 8th grade Project Based Learning students would like to invite parents and community members to attend the showcase of jobs in the Media Center on April 30th and May 1st. Times will be 11:05am - 12:10pm and 1:45pm - 2:40pm both days. Students have researched jobs they are interested in pursuing for their future and developed presentations to share. 

Check the date and times for the BCMS Boys Basketball Open Gym and Tryouts for the 26-27 school year.

6th Grade open gym dates will be March 31st, April 14th and April 21st.

7th Grade open gym dates will be March 31st, April 14th and April 21st.

8th Grade open gym dates will be April 2nd, April 16th and April 23rd.

All open gym times will be @ Barren County Middle School Gym from 3:15 to 5:00 PM.

TRYOUT DATES are as follows -

6th Grade - Tuesday, April 28th from 3:15 - 5:15PM

7th Grade - Thursday, April 30th from 3:15 - 5:15PM

8th Grade - Wednesday, April 30th from 3:15 - 5:15PM

You must have a current KHSAA sports physical in order to attend any of the open gym or tryout sessions. If you have participated in another sport this year you are responsible to get a copy of your physical from the coach or the front office at least 2 days before the first day you wish to participate. ⚠️ Important Details to Know:

🚗 Transportation is NOT provided. Parents/guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up students at Mammoth Cave National Park.

⏳ Spots are LIMITED! Only the first 25 students to sign up will be able to attend.

✅ Registration is first come, first served—once spots are filled, we cannot accept additional students.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get outside, connect with friends, and enjoy some time at the park.

👉 Be sure to sign up ASAP to secure your student’s spot.
