Abound Credit Union is celebrating its 75th Anniversary by recognizing outstanding educators! Mr. Jacob Guminski is recognized as an outstanding partner in finanical education with the Credit Union. He was presented on Thursday, November 13th with a gift card to use for his classroom and thanked for his outstanding work.

Twelve BCMS Choir students travelled to Danville, KY to participate in the All-State Choir. Earlier in the year, these students auditioned were 12 of only 200 students chosen for this honor. This was an awesome achievement since there are typically between 800 and 900 students who audtion for this group.
Congratulations to these students: Aubrey Blythe, Caylon Bor, Adahlee Estes, Karena Gschwend, Kenzie LeRoy, Micah Lucas, Aubrey Pate, Avery Reynolds, Judd Seeley, Lane Smith, Mady Taylor, and Claire Woodie.
While there 7 of our BCHS/BCMS students who auditioned and were accepted into the Southern Division Honor Choir, which will be held later this year in Memphis, Tennessee. Over 1,500 students auditioned from 11 southern states, and we are proud to have 7 of those members in our choir program! Congratulate these students when you see them for their hard work, and for going the extra mile to audition!
Mrs. Wood's class learned how to make paper airplanes fly and took the lesson outside to test out the planes. Hunter was the winner! Congrats!
Students made goodie bags for our Veteran's Day program attendees.
Beta Club members and sponsors visited WCLU to talk about what is coming up for BCMS Beta Club. In December, there will be a fundraiser called Breakfast with Santa. The Beta Club also discussed that Lily Key was running for KY JR Beta president as well as all things convention.
Mrs. Gibson's 6th period class learned about rational numbers while outside on this beautiful day.
There were around 170 Barren County students who performed during Saturday's Light Up Glasgow event.
It’s time to duct tape Principal Bunch to the wall!
During all lunch times, students were able purchase strips of duct tape to stick Principal Bunch up on the wall. The more money raised, the more tape he would cover him!
The PTSO was able to raise over $100. Our gracious principal was taped to the wall for both 7th and 8th grade lunches. We appreciate Mr. Bunch's willingness to help raise more for our students.
On Monday, November 24th, the adminstration brought the "Gobble Gobble Wagon" around spreading Thanksgiving Cheer to all and treats to the staff.
