A week-long celebration filled with activities that honor our faith, school spirit, and community. The PTU treats our staff to a meal and provides "thank-yous" to our bus drivers.

Donuts with Grown-Ups (Chair: Madeline Spond) - Students enjoy a special breakfast treat with their parents, grandparents, or loved ones before school.

Family Movie Night (Chair: Lindsay Crow) -  An evening of family fun watching a movie together at school, complete with snacks and community spirit.

Father- Daughter Dance (Chari: Lindsay Crow & Mackenzie Adzima) - A memorable evening for dads and daughters to enjoy music, dancing, and fun together.

Ginger Bread House Event (Chair: Jeanne Smerekovsky) - Families design and decorate gingerbread creations to show off their holiday spirit and creativity.

Mother-Son Event (Chair: George Wolozyn) - A special event designed for moms and sons to spend quality time together in a fun setting

Field Day is a day of outdoor games, team challenges, and friendly competition for all students.  The PTU sponsors lunch and volunteers to help set up and run the stations.

PTU offsets the cost of many field trips so students participate in hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom that connect lessons to the real world.

Volunteers will be requested by teachers at a later date, as needed.

First Holy Communion is a beautiful milestone in a child's faith journey, and the PTU is honored to help make the day even more special.

Following the school First Holy Communion Mass, the PTU hosts a light reception for our First Communicants and their families. Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments, celebrate together, and capture the moment with a special photo opportunity to commemorate this memorable occasion.

The Grateful Goodies Gang is a way to show our gratitude for the passion our teachers and staff pour into their work and our kiddos every single day!    Once a month we surprise these hard workers with a "goodie!"  This can be simple like a "Thanks a Lotto" lotto ticket or  more elaborate like a "Taco Bout Appreciation" lunch!   Our SBS staff are always grateful for the goodie!

Starting in 2026, the PTU is excited to welcome our newest St. Barnabas families with a Summer Meet & Greet just for incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students and their families!

This fun, casual event is the perfect opportunity to meet other new families, make new friends, and get to know our welcoming school community before the first day of school. Current St. Barnabas parents and PTU members will be there to answer questions, share helpful tips, and help you feel right at home.
