We are thrilled to welcome you to the Bantucola team! Your commitment to supporting Black-owned businesses and advocating for a more equitable community is invaluable to our mission. As a volunteer, you are now an essential part of our efforts to combat gentrification, promote economic growth, and empower the Black community.
Being a volunteer for Bantucola is rewarding because it provides hands-on experience in community advocacy, entrepreneurship, and business development while directly supporting Black-owned businesses. Volunteers gain valuable networking opportunities, mentorship, and leadership skills, helping to build connections within the local business ecosystem. Additionally, they contribute to meaningful initiatives that promote economic empowerment, cultural preservation, and social change. This experience can also enhance a student’s resume, providing real-world skills in marketing, event planning, and community engagement while making a tangible impact in the Pensacola area.
At Bantucola, we believe that every individual plays a key role in creating positive change. Your involvement will help strengthen our programs and initiatives, elevate local businesses, and amplify our message throughout the community. Whether you are helping with event organization, spreading awareness, or offering direct support to local entrepreneurs, your contributions are making a real impact.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Support Community Events – Help organize and manage Bantucola’s events, fundraisers, and outreach initiatives.
Assist with Program Delivery – Provide support for workshops and activities aimed at empowering Black businesses.
Help Fundraising Efforts – Contribute to the success of our fundraising activities by assisting with donor outreach and promoting events.
Distribute Promotional Materials – Play an active role in raising Bantucola’s visibility by sharing flyers, brochures, and other materials.
Assist with Social Media Campaigns – Help share content and encourage others to engage with our initiatives online.
Recruit New Volunteers – Inspire others to join our mission and help build a network of passionate supporters.
Provide Feedback – Share your insights and ideas to help improve our programs and outreach efforts.
Your time and dedication will directly help us create a more vibrant and supportive ecosystem for Black-owned businesses on the Gulf Coast. We are confident that together we can continue to grow and make lasting, positive change in the community.
