   • Member Resource Guide: Provide an easy-to-navigate guide or digital toolkit outlining available resources, networking opportunities, and business support services.

   • Mentorship Pairing: Connect new members with experienced business owners within the Bantucola network for mentorship, guidance, and knowledge-sharing.

   • Ongoing Check-ins: Follow up regularly with new members to address any questions, ensure they are engaged, and offer assistance where needed.

   • Encourage Participation: Actively invite new members to attend events, join online groups, and contribute to discussions, reinforcing their involvement from the start.

   • Recognition & Spotlights: Highlight new members in newsletters, social media, or events to introduce them to the community and help build their visibility.

Building Strong Relationships

• Foster connections between businesses, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders by creating opportunities for collaboration and mutual support.

• Act as a liaison between members and Bantucola leadership to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.

  • Serve as a Point of Contact: Listen to members’ concerns, questions, and feedback, and relay them to Bantucola leadership for resolution.

  • Facilitate Communication: Help ensure clear and open communication between members and leadership by sharing updates, initiatives, and important announcements.

  • Advocate for Member Needs: Work with leadership to develop solutions that address challenges and enhance the overall membership experience.

• Promote collaboration and mentorship among business owners to strengthen the local business ecosystem.

• Areas to help this in:

  • Social Media Marketing: Utilize platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to promote businesses and create awareness about Bantucola initiatives. Engage with members through interactive content, live sessions, and community discussions to build a strong network.

  • Event Participation: Encourage members to attend and actively engage in networking events, business expos, and community forums. Assist in organizing meet-and-greet sessions, panel discussions, and collaborative opportunities that strengthen relationships among stakeholders.

Promoting Bantucola’s Mission

• Advocate for the growth and success of Black-owned businesses in Pensacola and beyond by sharing their achievements and challenges.

• Share Bantucola’s initiatives, events, and impact with the wider community to increase visibility and support.

• Encourage engagement through social media, word of mouth, and direct outreach to expand the Bantucola network and attract new members.

Event & Program Support

• Assist in organizing and hosting networking events, business expos, and community forums that bring together business owners, stakeholders, and potential customers.

• Help facilitate discussions and workshops to educate and empower business owners with new skills and strategies for success.

• Gather feedback from members to enhance future programs and initiatives, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the community.

Encouraging Membership Growth

• Welcome new businesses and individuals to join Bantucola by highlighting the benefits of membership and the supportive community it offers.

• Showcase the benefits of membership, including visibility, support, and growth opportunities, to prospective members.

• Lead by example in demonstrating the power of community collaboration, showing how working together strengthens individual businesses and the community as a whole.
