PBIS (Tier I) Program
Purpose: to promote positive conflict resolution skills among the students
4th and/or 5th grade students go out to recess and help students on the playground solve conflicts peacefully and award those who are making good choices and practicing healthy conflict resolution skills
Students will be recruited based on teacher’s discretion and student application: Students need good attendance, do well academically and positive behavior
The dino patrol will give out dino claws (green paper with a dino claw on it) to those they feel are exerting appropriate/positive conflict resolution skills
At the end of the week on Friday afternoons, I will do a raffle from the dino claws that were awarded and the winner will come to my office and choose a prize from my treasure box
