We all love our screen time, so here is a little SEL activity to do while watching your favorite TV show or movie!
Remember like I always say, no one defines who you are YOU do. Don't let anyone take that from you, be confident and believe in yourself! It's okay to fail sometimes that's what helps you learn and grow to be the best possible version of yourself! Believe in yourself!
Did you know it's okay to feel and be angry? Of course it's okay because anger is a feeling and you have every right to feel all of your feelings! The thing that gets people in trouble is how they act on their anger and how they lose control.
Grief is hard and it's different for everyone. When losing a loved one it's okay to cry, feel sad and miss the person, thing or animal you lost. Always try to remember the awesome memories you had together and even draw those beautiful memories and keep the drawing as a reminder of that loved one!
It's important to know what bullying is and what types of bullying there is, so that we can make sure we are not being bullies ourselves or if we see someone else getting bullied to get help. Remember be an UPSTANDER (report and stop bullying), don't be a BYSTANDER (someone who does nothing or encourages the bullying behavior). Lets all be UPSTANDERS!
Empathy is understanding other peoples feelings. It's putting yourself in someone else shoes. This is important because it allows us to be understanding and help others if needed.
We have lots of emotions and sometimes it's hard to regulate or control them all at times and that's okay. We just have to find ways to help us stay in control. Here are 5 fun ways we can help regulate our emotions!
It doesn't cost anything to be kind to one another, so lets color our world with kindness! Lets be kind to one another because we do not know what others are going through and who knows maybe your act of kindness can brighten up someone's day!
