The Effects of the Kent State Massacre

The government did a few things for the students after the event on the Kent State campus. Many guardsmen and students of the university were taken into custody for being an active participant in the event. The guards went to trial for many reasons such as violating the civil rights of students who were protesting. Many of the stories explaining the day were conflicting, and they heard different stories from both students and guards.
