Vision Statement: As a CSO I want to help bring more attention to the STEM area to a wide range of people.

Future Plans: My future plans are to become a nuclear medicine physician.

Mackenzie Jean-Marcoux

Vision Statement: Through the CSO program I intend to build STEM interest in the student body in hopes to increase the number of future STEM professionals.

Future Plans: After I graduate this year, I plan on attending Concordia University Chicago to become a Director of Christian Education. Even though I do not plan on going into a STEM field, I still plan on participating on STEM activities and helping local CSO programs as an adult.

Experience: Over the course of my high school career, I have worked hard to learn about STEM. I have done extensive work with 3D printing, website design, agriculture, physics, and more.

Passions: I enjoy participating in hands on activities, working with technology, and presenting new ideas. I also love to help children learn and see them grow as they gain new abilities.

Why am I a CSO? I am a CSO because I believe in creating a future where STEM professionals are plentiful, making great strides in healthcare, education, clean water for those without, and more innovations that will be helpful to those without basic necessities.

Anthony Oswald

Vision Statement: As a CSO I wish to make an imapact on my comminty with the STEM ideas of our student body, and hopefully such ideas can blossem into impactful plans of action within our community, maybe even state

Future Plans: After this year of being a CSO, I wish to continue as a third year CSO at our school. From there I will have graduated and hopefully be on towards the university of my choosing to study all matter of biological sciences until I reach my long lived dream of becoming a Marine Biologist/Conservationist.

Experience: Most of my experiance has been through the multiple science and math courses I have taken through the years. Along with the multiple extracuricular programs/activites I have taken part in such as, Science Olympiad and Delta's "Dream Program".

Passions: I have a love for marine scince of all types, it is what fuels my dream of becoming of a Marine Biologist/Conservationist. Along with my interest in hands on engineering such as carpentry, architecture, buliding logistics, ect. With these dreams and hobbies comes my fascination with some finer more intellectual concepts; such as the complexity and uniqness of the game of chess, along with the Taxonomy order and Binomial Nomenclature.

Why am I a CSO?: I am a CSO because of my fascination with science, and the impact I wish to make on the feild at an early age within my career.

Abbie Firman

Vision Statement: I plan to promote recycling by making recycling stations on the Saginaw river.

Future Plans: I plan to attend a university, and become a physical scientist.

Experience: I have made recycling tubes for fishing docks to reduce fishing line pollution

Passions: I love studying Biological sciences, and enjoy helping the environment

Why am I an adopted CSO?: I am a Chief Science Officer because I enjoy science and love studying about it.

Jonathan Sayles

Vision Statement: I plan to attend MSU and major in Agricultural, Food and Natural Resource Education.

Future Plans: Agricultural Science Teacher

Passions: Agricultural related activities such as working on a dairy farm.

Why am I an adopted CSO?: I enjoy Science related topics such as hydroponics and propagation.

Vision Statement: I want to show and explain the life-cycles of lizards to those of a younger audience.

Future Plans: I want to go to college for a degree in pharmaceuticals at Ferris University.

Experience: I care for my own reptile at my house and the school.

Passions: I enjoy doing Science Olympiad and building a mousetrap car to study physics and motion transfer.

Kaitlyn Knight

Vision Statement: I would like to see the education of STEM spread to every school in the district.

Future Plans: I plan on going through college and then applying to Veterinarian School. I will go through the four year degree program and soon get my license.

Vision Statement: I hope to encourage other women to join Stem related clubs and organizations and to pursue Stem related careers.

Future Plans: I plan on attending a four-year college to major in chemical engineering. I may further my education by pursuing an MBA.

Experience: I have participated in several science programs and classes. I have also assisted with CSO in previous years.

Passions: I consider myself a passionate chemistry nerd, but when I am outside the classroom I spend time with my horse and compete in equestrian competitions.

Why am I an adopted CSO?: I enjoy participating in Stem related activities and teaching others about science related programs, activities, and careers.
