STEM by students

John Glenn is very proud of the number of other STEM opportunities we offer for our students to participate in. If there is a STEM class or club that our students want but we don't yet offer, they are encouraged to present the idea to a CSO or science teacher.

This was created by a Physics student to present on motion. This is an awesome Newton's Cradle!

This build is a three wheeled car. The twist? The wheels are made of hockey pucks! The Red Wings design on top makes this the best hockey-themed build in the history of John Glenn Physics!

Here we have a great representation of motion. This bike look-a-like was a class favorite!

The biggest build of the chapter, a six foot tall swing! Fully functional, Mrs. Attkins approved!

so what is stem?
