Transportation

Key Changes to Daily Transportation Routes:

Morning Routes: To optimize efficiency and minimize disruptions, morning bus routes will be adjusted to start 10 minutes earlier. This small shift will help ensure timely arrivals while maintaining the high standards of our transportation services.

Afternoon Routes: Similarly, afternoon bus routes will be extended by 25 minutes, allowing for a smoother and more relaxed conclusion to the school day. This adjustment aims to reduce any potential congestion and make the transportation process more streamlined.

Activity Bus: The activity bus will leave the Middle School at approximately 6:10 PM and the High School at around 6:35 PM.

Enhanced Friday Extracurricular Transportation:

On Fridays, we are excited to continue offering transportation for high school students participating in extracurricular activities such as sports, band, and other school-related events. To ensure our routes meet the needs of our students, a survey will be conducted by Dr. Sizemore, the high school principal, and Mr. Fontenot-Amedee, the athletic director. This survey will determine the demand for the Friday activity bus, allowing us to tailor our routes accordingly.
