Welcome to the 2026 BWPC 12s & Under Water Polo Carnival

The 16th year of this event where we have seen nearly 4,000 children participate over the years in this event.  Our philosophy remains one of maximum participation in a nurturing and non-threatening environment. Balanced with the iconic venue at Dawn Fraser Baths where the atmosphere is one of relaxation and friendship and the holiday mode, the carnival accommodates those beginners as well as those just venturing into organised competitions. Games are played in the spirit of fun and friendship.

The other highlight of the carnival is our Junior referee mentor program sponsored by Delfina, which annually produces the next generation of referees and table officials. We are fortunate to have the support of key experienced mentors as well as young referees who started their officiating journey at this carnival. Many thanks to Anna, Megan and Ken for providing these opportunities.

To our Balmain WPC community - without our parents, we would not be able to offer such quality offerings with our catering. The Dawny BBQ is renowned with a menu which includes healthy options as well as the naughty but nice items. Food and drinks will be available all day, starting with breakfast from 8:30am. Our senior players and officials have also assisted with the running of the event from admin to our free clinics.

Inner West Council has supported the Carnival since 2011, assisting with venues, staff and equipment. Thanks to Paddy, Mark  and the team at Dawny making us all feel welcome.
