This adorable bunny like creature is the War bunny. It's an animal that lives on Planet X in freezing temperatures down to -90 degrees celsius. Below is the planning steps I made to get to the conclusion of making a War bunny and all the features I used for it
Planning
This is the initial drawing of the war bunnies habitat the two pictures to the right
are researching other arctic animals to yoink their adaptations to use them for the War bunny. And down the bottom right is the first sketch of the War bunny.

The War Bunny
Introduction
Small, adorable, and incredibly fluffy. The War Bunny is a very cute, bunny-like thing that lives in the ground of an ice giant planet. This planet called Planet X can reach temperatures as low as -90C.
Habitat
The War Bunny usually lives in a hilly tundra about 300km away from the equator. This location can reach temperatures of 16C, which makes it possible for berries to grow. War bunny babies have to be born a bit closer to the equator because their fur and blubber hasnt fully come through. So if they were to stay outside far from the equator they wouldnt be able to live for very long.
Diet
While we’re on the subject of food, let’s move onto the War Bunnies diet. The War Bunnies diet is a mix of many foods because it is a scavenger which means it only eats things that are already dead. It can also eat natural fruits and berries. The War Bunnies' favourite food is prickle berries which get their name from the prickles or spikes on its outer layer. To protect it from many animals who aren’t sure how to get into them, but the War Bunny has an amazing way to open them just like a monkey with a banana. The War Bunny sticks its razor sharp claws into the berry and twists to pop the shell off. It can then dig into the juicy sweet berry inside. These claws are just one of many interesting features that contribute to the War Bunnies unique appearance.
Appearance
The War Bunny looks just like a regular earth bunny except for a few aspects. For example, the War Bunny has massive horns that protrude from the top of its head. It is also very fluffy and white in the winter, turning to grey in the summer. It has short limbs which keep it close to the ground, and long tall ears that aid its survival. The War Bunny has many other interesting adaptations that help it not only survive, but thrive in its environment.
Adaptations
The War Bunny has many adaptations to survive in the harsh conditions of Plant X. 30% of its entire body weight is nothing but blubber to insulate itself from the freezing temperatures. It has papilla on its feet that help to grip onto the ice along with sharp claws that allow it to climb and dig the ice. The War Bunny digs burrows to conserve its heat and to create a safe place for it to sleep. As previously mentioned, the War Bunny has long horns on its head mostly for protection against predators. It is naturally incredibly smart, and can figure out from a young age that it can sharpen its horns by running them along rocks.
Conclusion
In conclusion we have learnt a lot about the fascinating War bunny including appearance, diet, habitat and even its mind blowing adaptations.
Key Adaptations
The War bunny has big eyes to see well because sights important especially when snow is pouring down
The war bunny has sharp horns to protect and attack it from its predators.
The War bunny has very sharp claws to dig climb and just to grip on to the ice.
AI Generations
Here is the AI generated images generated by ChatGPT. And on the right is the first one which was too cartoony so we generated a realistic image on the left. But i decided to include the one on the right because it was the base image that we worked on until we got the final image.
Predator
Although the War bunny does have predators that could be very dangerous for them, the most dangerous of all is the Teraconian.
This absolutely terrifying monster is the Teraconian which brings terror and despair to the creatures of planet X. It has short sharp legs to grip the ice and a banded shell to help it curl up that live from 20-25 years and is about 15cm. But the most dangerous thing about the Teraconian is that it gets on top of its prey and uses thermite to burn the victims under it. The Teraconian is especially bad for burrowing animal because they dig long tunnels under the surface of Planet X frying and eating everything that gets in its way. But creatures with fur or blubber is even more unlucky because fat and fur is very flammable.
