Sixth grade students are introduced to careers utilizing a career interest inventory.
Seventh grade students continue building their career knowledge completing a second career interest profiler and 5 brain games and then looking into three Career Clusters that interest them based off of their results.
Eighth grade career exploration has three parts.
Part one is the completion of a career aptitude inventory. This helps student narrow down what they are good at and what careers might be a good fit for them.
The second part is to understand how their Individual Graduation Plan helps guide their high school registration. The idea is that students will select classes that relate to their interests and their aptitude in order to achieve their career goals.
The final part is to introduce Dual Enrollment and how participating in the program can help them reach their career goals more quickly (and for free) by doing college classes while still in high school.
