Join us on Friday to remember Mr. Blom by wearing blue in his memory.  Donations for his family will also be collected by the Tomahawk Shop on Thursday and Friday.

It is with a heavy heart that Baldwin High School mourns the loss of one of our most dedicated educators, Mr. Blom. As a beloved Algebra II teacher, he inspired generations of juniors and seniors with his passion for mathematics and his genuine love for teaching.

Mr. Blom had a remarkable gift for making even the most challenging math concepts understandable. But beyond the numbers and equations, he taught lessons in perseverance, curiosity, and confidence. His classroom was more than a place to learn; it was a space where students felt seen, supported, and encouraged to believe in their potential. His knee-slapping dad jokes, his memorable tie, and his infectious laughter filled the classrooms and hallways of Baldwin High.

His impact reaches far beyond his classroom walls. Colleagues remember his kindness, his calm spirit, and his unwavering commitment to his students. His legacy will continue to live on in every young person he inspired to think critically and never give up.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mr. Blom, thank you for your years of dedication, your love for teaching, and the light you brought to not just Baldwin High School, but the community as a whole. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Services will be held on October 12, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Gray Methodist Church. Visitation will be held after the service.
