Now accepting Applications for Admission for SY 2025-2026 (Kinder to Grade 9)
Thank you for considering our school for your child and your family.
Balay Sofia Inc (BSI) is a young Steiner/Waldorf school that offers an education that is both healing and nurturing. In a fast-paced and hectic world, Balay Sofia creates a safe space where children can take their time to enjoy childhood, explore and revel at the world's intricacies and learn at a pace that is healthy and meaningful to them. Our teachers carry the children in their hearts and minds, and strive to prepare each child for life.
We find that the children are able to get the most of their education at Balay Sofia when the parents and family seek out the unique character of Steiner/Waldorf Education for their children, support Balay Sofia's educational goals, as well as share the school community's culture and values. As partners, these families recognize and accept the role of parents in supporting the pedagogical and community work of the school and the children enrolled.
The admissions process involves the determination by both the school and the parents that the child's needs will be met in a way that is developmentally appropriate and healthy for the child, their class or grade level, and the school community. This is applicable to both new and returning students.
We would love to share more about our school and get to know you and your family.
Check out our Admissions process for more information on the programs we offer.
