Pride has always lived in the streets. This September, we’re taking that seriously.

Back to the Streets brings Pride Week to street level in Inglewood from September 4–6 with three days of community-led programming, queer and trans visibility, local artists, neighbourhood participation, business activations, public gathering, and some very good reasons to keep moving through Inglewood.

Friday gets the weekend rolling.

Saturday brings all-ages programming, the Treaty 7 Dyke and Trans March, queer and trans artists, community gathering, neighbourhood participation, and Glam on Tap at Cold Garden into the mix.

Sunday keeps Pride moving with Black Pride YYC, the Calgary Pride Parade, Versions, neighbourhood programming, and community gathering.

This isn’t Pride simply landing in Inglewood. It’s Pride Week being built with the neighbourhood.

Rooted in public gathering, queer and trans visibility, local arts, grassroots organizing, and neighbourhood participation, the weekend connects Pride’s march tradition with Inglewood as a place to gather.

Across three days, Back to the Streets brings together the Treaty 7 Dyke and Trans March, all-ages programming, queer and trans artists, drag, music, Black Pride YYC, neighbourhood businesses, community organizations, partner programming, and public gathering throughout Inglewood.

Friday gets the weekend started. Saturday brings the March, gathering, performances, and evening programming into the neighbourhood. Sunday carries the momentum through the Calgary Pride Parade and back into Inglewood for more community programming and connection.

This is not simply Pride happening in Inglewood. It is Pride Week being built with the neighbourhood.
