The first step in preparing for your Presentation of Learning is to create a Google Site (this is a Google site) that will be your ePortfolio for the next four years and beyond.
Google sites works well with our other Google platforms and also gives you one more authentic skill to add to your resume!
The ePortfolio will tell a story about your learning. The most important take-away is that this is your chance to REFLECT on your learning and how it has impacted you. As you grow, your ePortfolio will grow and you will be able to showcase your skills and growth to colleges and employers.
You will choose your most important learnings from the year and share these experiences with a small group of peers and staff. They may ask you questions and provide you feedback for you to be successful at Bridgeview Academy.
In order to create an ePortfolio with Google Sites, click the link to the right. This will take you to Google's own lessons on how to create a Google Site.
Once you have gone through the lessons you should feel confident in creating your own portfolio! After you have done this you are ready to move on below to what pages are required for your Bridgeview ePortfolio.

The last step to prepare for your POL is to be ready to present your ePortfolio to the small group of peers and staff. You will need to talk for about 10 minutes before opening the floor to questions that will hopefully encourage some short conversations about you. Sounds fun, doesn't it!
We would like you to:
Introduce yourself and share something that you are most proud of in your ePortfolio.
Next, please tell us about one thing that challenged you this year and how you overcame the obstacle.
Share an experience you found most memorable during the year. You may refer to personal and/or academic experiences if you feel they are relevant to your learning/education. Be sure it is included in your ePortfolio so you can refer to it when you are sharing.
Last, tell us about a competency that you rocked! Why did you rock it? Did you hit a high level? Did you show a ton of growth? Was it something you struggled with handing in all year and finally got it together? No story is too big or too small here. This is about you recognizing the challenges and celebrating the successes. And we'd like to celebrate with you!
You will be rated on the NGE.2 presentation competency.
