You will be able to define ray, vertex, and angle.
You will be able to identify different types of angles.
Standards Addressed:
G-CO.A.1: Know precise definitions of angle, circle, perpendicular line, parallel line, and line segment, based on the undefined notions of point, line, distance along a line, and distance around a circular arc.
line segment: a part of a line consisting of two points, called endpoints, and all points between them.
ray: the part of a line consisting of one endpoint and all the points of the line on one side of the endpoint.
opposite rays: are collinear rays with the same endpoint. They form a line.
parallel lines: Two lines are parallel if they lie in the same plane and do not intersect. The symbol || means "is parallel to".
skew lines: are lines that do not lie in the same plane.
parallel planes: Parallel planes are planes that do not intersect.
Name the plane represented by each surface of the box.
