Using DVDs in Your Class

If you have a DVD collection that is part of your curriculum, you can check out an external DVD player that will connect directly to your classroom projector. Contact librarian Jenna Morin at jmorin@awrsd.org to check out a DVD player for the year.

Another option is to digitize your classroom DVDs. Ashburnham Westminster Community Media (formerly AWCA-TV) provides free video conversions for content that is used for educational purposes (videos watched or audio heard in your class instruction or available in school libraries). The audio or video content will be transferred to a shared Google Drive folder that you can access from your teacher Chromebook. Click here for more information and to ask that content be converted.
