The DLSC standards include core concepts in the following strands:

Computational Thinking
Each strand is subdivided into topics comprised of related standards, and reinforces the skills that are needed to solve digital literacy and computer science problems, including: Creating, Connecting, Abstracting, Analyzing, Communicating, Collaborating and Researching.
Interested in learning more about computational thinking? Google has a free online course you can take as a beginner's introduction to how computational thinking works and what is looks like in your content area. DESE also has a site devoted to integrating computational thinking into the curriculum.
