Dear Altar Valley Families,


Can you believe we have already completed our first month of school! I am proud to announce that it has been a great start to the New Year. To help us prepare for this New Year the Altar Valley Governing Board has finalized the district goals naming it our Blueprint for Success for the 2022-2023 school year to support the districts mission, vision, and values created last year.


AVSD Blueprint for Success has three goals that will guide us for the upcoming year in the areas of:

  • High Expectations for Academic Growth

  • Community Collaboration

  • Lifelong Learning and Professional Development

September 12 - All Grandparents are invited to join their special student for lunch

September 15 & 16 - Parent Teacher Conferences

September 21 – AVSD Family Fun Night at AVMS 5:30 pm

October 1 - The 15th Annual Three Points/Robles Junction Community Festival 3–7 pm at Robles Elementary

We are seeking qualified substitute teachers, after school tutors, bus drivers, paraprofessionals, and maintenance techs to join our team. Those interested in working in the Altar Valley School District should go to the website and complete an application at www.altarvalleyschools.org.


Substitute Teacher – Work as many or few days as you like earning $125 day.


After School Tutor / Special Interest Club tutor - Tutors can earn up to $30 an hour.


Bus Driver – Do you have your CDL or are you just interested in learning more about joining the AVSD team and driving a bus? If so please contact us to find out more about the great opportunities in AVSD!
