Dress Code

Concert dress for all performances is...

• White shirt (or white dress shirt/blouse)

• Black dress pants or skirt (skirts must come down to the knee or lower and cellists cannot wear skirts)

• Black shoes (no sneakers)

• Black socks or tights if applicable

If you have specific concerns about concert attire, please consult your string teacher.

The philosophy behind a universal concert attire is to present a unified group of musicians with a common goal. Like a sports team, all musicians in the performing group are equally important. The presentation of our musicians should reflect this team philosophy.
