Alberto Rojas
Students were asked to create still lifes that look professional using mostly natural light in their homes. Each image had to be created with great effort using professional looking backdrops, props, and specific subject matter. They were also required to make edits using a clone stamp tool to remove any dust dirt or grime they may have missed when setting up their still life scene. At the end of this project we had a critique where the class voted as a whole for the best image. To the left you can see the image won and we are so proud of Alberto Rojas!
This project is called "Not your typical portrait" . Students were able to choose from different portrait options such as pets, children, Wes Naman inspired, day in the life, stranger, stylized, shadow, and faceless self portraits.
Students were asked to think of each in a conceptual and literal way so they can get the most creative photograph.
In this project students were asked to take some skills they learned last year and combine them in an interesting pair! Each pairing should not only demonstrate the learned skills but also tell a story about the combined images.
This section is all about the work that was created on their own time. There isn't a theme for these images other than to show off their skills and creativity!! Please Enjoy! :)
