Course Milestones

Guest Speakers & Field Trips

• Throughout the Fall, students take fields trips and hear from guest speakers to broaden exposure about needs in the greater Austin community and various ways people are addressing them.

Round Robin Idea Brainstorm

• Student groups pitch early stage ideas with Vanguard, in search of meaningful problems to solve

Shark Tank

• Student groups pitch mid-stage ideas and receive feedback about viability and execution of their concepts.

Symposium

• Students reveal final concepts to the public through 1-minute stage pitches and convention-style booths.
