Students in all classes are scheduled for weekly library lessons and check out. Students are encouraged to self-select books based primarily on their interests and not by level, though teachers and Ms. Snell work with students to guide them in their selection.

Library is part of the rotation with Art, Music, and Tech, so students visit the library frequently, just not the same day each week. They visit on a 6-day rotation.

Kindergarten: 2 books (starting with one in the fall)
1st Grade: 2 books
2nd- 5th Grades: up to 5 books
(students are trusted to learn and know how many books they can be responsible for keeping up with)
Books are checked out for 2 weeks. Students may renew a book if they need more time to finish.
Students are not charged for overdue books.
Payment for lost or damaged books is greatly appreciated to help with replacing them given our limited budget.
