Jordan Brockwell is an Austin-based professional Soprano and teaching artist in Austin, passionate about helping singers build confident, healthy, and expressive voices. With extensive performance and competition experience, including professional work with Austin Opera, Jordan brings her real world artistry and performance experience into every lesson. While continuing to actively perform and audition with local opera companies, Jordan is dedicated to helping middle and high school singers grow technically and artistically in a fun, supportive environment.
Jordan enjoys teaching a wide variety of musical styles, from classical and opera to contemporary musical theatre and modern repertoire, and especially loves exploring music in foreign languages. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and goals, whether preparing for choir solos, competitions, auditions, musical theatre, or simply gaining confidence as a singer. Students are encouraged to explore their voices creatively while building strong musicianship and healthy vocal habits.
Having personally coped with many years of performance anxiety, Jordan values creating a safe, encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable trying new things and growing their unique sound. Above all, Jordan’s goal is to help students develop lasting vocal technique, confidence, and joy in singing.
