I am enthusiastic about working with students in higher education. As a Success Coach, you will benefit from my 25+ years of experience in the areas of undergraduate admissions, career services, dean of students, and a number of other areas.
I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Master of Arts in Communication Studies at Texas State University.
My career has mostly been with students in 4-year universities in Texas in career services, and my passion is to help connect classroom learning to career outcomes. As a first-generation college student, I learned many ways not to do something. I started higher ed at community college with dual credit, and the experience affirmed that I could reach for my career goals.
My goal as your success coach is to be a resource and guide on your self-defined journey of success. Success can be both a destination and a process. I hope that you will agree that we can work together.
I enjoy trying lots of new things and I change hobbies based on my interest at the time. My current interests include reading, singing, sewing, and consuming all kinds of media.
