ACC Website Changes: ACC is making some changes to website in the coming days. Look for updates to our homepage, campus pages, and other sections.
I started my career in Higher Education with ACC over 13 years ago. I have worked in various roles including Student Affairs, Learning Labs, and High School programs, and I have been teaching the Learning Frameworks (EDUC) for 7 years. My role as the Advising Supervisor is to help students meet their goals, problem solve with the Student Affairs team, and advocate for students and staff.
I recently graduated with a PhD in Social Justice and Education from Lancaster University, with a focus on the intersectional needs within higher education. I obtained my Bachelor's in Organizational Communication and a Master's Degree in College Student Development from St. Edward's University. I started my educational journey right after high school at ACC, and then left for the workforce. I returned as a single parent and working adult to complete my degrees and if I can teach my students anything, it is that there is not one way to college and you are your own timeframe.
In my free time, I enjoy reading comic books, traveling, gardening, and watching movies (shout out to Alamo Drafthouse!).
