TSI: If you have taken the TSI Assessment within the last 5 years at a testing site outside of Austin Community College, but within the state of Texas, please complete the Retrieve TSI Scores form here.
SAT: Scores must be sent to ACC directly from the College Board to be considered official. Official scores are needed to update a student’s record. Please visit the SAT website and request official scores to be sent to Austin Community College. Our school code is 6759.
ACT: Scores must be sent to ACC directly from ACT to be considered official. Official scores are needed to update a student’s record. Please visit the ACT website and request official scores to be sent to Austin Community College District. Our school code is 4059.
TSI & ESOL TESTING: Please go to your nearest Testing Center to take advantage of this opportunity. No appointment needed. ACC application for admission required for new students to test for free.
Complete the TSI Assessment Preparation if you need to take all or part of the assessment.
Transcripts uploaded to applications or sent from the student directly via email are considered unofficial. All transcripts must be sent officially directly from the institution. If you have not already sent the official transcript(s) for the schools listed below to ACC, please do so as soon as possible to prevent a registration hold from being placed on your record. Please note, high school transcripts must show a final graduation date.
First-time college students: Please request an official copy of your high school transcript or GED diploma — unofficial transcripts are not required.
Students with previous college credit: Request an official transcript from each college/university attended. To best serve you while we wait for your official transcripts to arrive, you may upload an unofficial transcript from your most recent college/university attended to the Supplemental Documents section of your application account. We do not require your high school transcript or GED certificate.
Important: Unsubmitted transcripts will affect your ability to be awarded and disbursed financial aid. If you applied for financial aid, all transcripts must be received and your transcript hold must be closed before you can be awarded and/or funds can be disbursed. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@austincc.edu or 512-223-4636 if you have questions about how this could affect your eligibility.
Do you have any holds?- Check your MyACC Student Portal to find out.
Are you a transfer student/coming from a previous institution? Make sure to have your unofficial transcript handy for an advisor to review, along with submitting your transcript officially ASAP!

While it's not required, students are strongly encouraged to use their free tuition benefits during the summer semester. Summer courses are often accelerated, so it's a great opportunity to stay on track or get ahead. Talk to your advisor to find out which classes are a good fit for your summer schedule and academic goals.
Registration will open on a tiered schedule, depending on how many ACC hours you have (transferred hours and AP credits do not count). To find out how many credits you have, head to your self-service portal to see your degree progress. Click here to see a video on how to do that.

Blackboard is an online learning tool that ACC students use to view course material. In a fully online format, the teacher might assign all materials to the students digitally, communicate outside of class using online tools, and have students discuss and collaborate online. In a hybrid model, the class might meet in person only once a week and use Blackboard activities that students complete outside the course. Finally, for the classes that may be face-to-face, instructors may post supporting materials like syllabi, assignments, or optional discussions online.
For instructions on how to get started with Blackboard, including login, password information, finding your classes and tutorials watch the following video: Getting Started With Blackboard
