Deadlines: Assignments (MEL) & Exams (BB)

Assignments are completed in MEL (MyEconLab). Exams are taken on BB (BlackBoard).

MEL and BB close on 12/11/21 at midnight.

All UNIT EXAMS will be available for re-testing on BB until the day BB& MEL close if you have taken the initial test by its deadline or have met the prerequisites for taking it.

On each Chapter Homework Assignment, you have to make 65% to move on to the associated Chapter Quiz. On each Chapter Quiz you also have to make 65% to move on to the next Chapter Homework Assignment or to the UNIT EXAM. All MEL assignments can be submitted late, but you lose 1% for every day late after its due date. This means if you are 35 days late you can not make the minimum 65% anymore.

The points you earn on homework. video, quiz, or interactive assignments in MEL (MyEconLab) will be exactly the points recorded for those assignments on ACC's Blackboard gradebook site for the course.

TIP 1: It can take two hours or more for the MyEconLab grades to update on the Blackboard gradebook. This is important because your UNIT Exams will not appear in the UNIT folder until Blackboard can ascertain whether a 65% or better was made on the last chapter quiz in each UNIT. Aim to complete MEL 24 hours before you need the grade points in BB.
