Introduction to Geospatial Data

I hope you enjoy this self-learning Introduction to Geospatial Data course. Students should have basic computing skills including file management and be comfortable using Microsoft Windows.

You can access the course lecture videos, demonstration videos, exercises, project statements of work and videos, and quizzes without enrolling in the course. Hi! I'm Sean Moran, GISP

Formerly the ACC GIS Department Chair; I have over 25 years of professional planning, GIS, and GPS experience. My experience as an educator, manager, supervisor, coordinator, and analyst give me a comprehensive base of knowledge on which to draw. Prior to coming to ACC in 2009, I worked as a Planner and GIS Professional. I have a BS in Urban Forestry from Texas A&M University and an MS in Urban Planning from the University of Texas.

I enjoy camping, hiking, boating, fishing, traveling...really any activity that expands my mental map of the world!
