All College Students need a math course. Do you know which course is best for your degree?
There are courses for Science, Engineering, and Math students, different courses for business students, and even different courses for students in liberal arts or applied science degrees. The ACC Mathematics Department student webpage describes each course in detail.
Here is the course flow chart for STEM students. Use it to decide where to start and which sequence of courses to take. You can choose from the:

Here is the course flow chart for non-STEM students. Work with your advisor and this chart to decide where your TSI scores allow you to start. This is for degree plans needing only:

MATH 1332 Contemporary Math
Do you know which course you should take but are unsure if you are ready to be successful? A prerequisite review is a list of problems a student should know BEFORE taking a course. If you need just a little help but are able to figure out the problems, then you are ready for the class. If you seriously struggle with the review spending hours or needing tutoring help, then see an advisor and register for a lower class. You will be ready for your needed class very soon.
