Hi- My name is Veyda, and I’m so honored to serve as SCADHA President.

I grew up in Austin and spent about five years working in the dental field before entering the program which strengthened my love for dentistry and showed me how important community and support are within healthcare and education.

To me, leadership means helping people feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected. As president, I hope to help build a stronger sense of community within our chapter and create opportunities for students to genuinely connect with one another, both professionally and personally.

Outside of school, I enjoy writing, film photography, yoga, and spending time with my Great Pyrenees mix, Ivy.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve in this chapter, and I’m excited for everything this year will bring! ♡
