Texas Dental Hygienists' Association

As a student member of ADHA in Texas, you automatically belong to the Texas Dental Hygienists' Association (TDHA). Every year the TDHA hosts a conference for both professionals and students to meet, collaborate, and recognize members. Professional members participate in the business of the association by declaring resolutions the TDHA stands behind (ie., expanding our scope of practice to administer local anesthesia) in the House of Delegates.  Although many of your faculty has served in the past as a Texas delegate representing Austin, current faculty delegates include Sima Sohrabi and Melissa Vetter. Students are also provided with mini board reviews, video competitions, dental fashion competitions, community events, and table presentations with cash rewards. Its always a special time during your student dental hygiene journey to participate in your professional conference.

American Dental Hygienists' Association

The ADHA hosts an annual conference  for both professionals and students nationwide. This is a national conference and this year is being held in Fort Worth, Texas.
