Selasi: When a campfire burns, the wood turns into a new gas. The matter doesn't disappear.
Jane: When a campfire burns, the smoke and ash are still wood, just in different phases of matter.
Benjamina: When a campfire burns, the particles in the wood break apart and become new substances. You still have the same amount of matter though.
