Ideas for Implementing Visual Supports:
Visual schedule: create a schedule of each day to increase structure, decrease anxiety, support independence, etc.
Mini-task schedules: (e.g., getting dressed, taking a bath/shower; brushing teeth, making a snack, completing their schoolwork, getting ready for bed, etc.)
Choice boards: (e.g., choices for foods/drinks, etc.; school work completion; activities to do during breaks from school work; leisure/recreation activities; self-regulation strategies, etc.)
Positive Behavior Supports: reinforcement cards; If/Then or First/Then; behavior rules cards, etc.
