Hello There!

I've been teaching at Highland Oaks for 13 wonderful years now. Growing up in Arcadia and attending Highland Oaks, Foothills, and AHS, I always had a love for education. My passion for teaching ignited early on during my freshman year of high school while reading books to young children at the Arcadia Public Library. While I've enjoyed teaching both kindergarten and 2nd grade, 3rd grade holds a special place in my heart. Outside of work, my husband is also part of the district, and together we have two amazing children, Jordan in 9th grade and Sierra in 8th grade. Our family is completed by our beloved pets, Boomer, an 8 year-old Labrador Retriever, and Lola, our playful 3 year-old Maltipoo. In my free time, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies of baking, crafting, and shopping.
