Arcadia Choirs @arcadiachoirs presents a special vocal workshop with the Los Angeles based a cappella octet @exilioensemble this coming *Wednesday* at 8:30 am in the Choir Room! In this rare opportunity, Exilio will lead and work with the Arcadia Choirs with vocal warmups, provide insightful feedback on our current repertoire, implement helpful vocal techniques, and present a special performance to conclude the workshop. Workshop opens to all students to observe and participate. Snatch this opportunity to get some insight on your vocal technique. You won’t want to miss it! 🤩

✨ ABOUT EXILIO ✨
Exilio, founded by Koji Sakano @kojisakano and Ann Chen @music_achen , is a Los Angeles-based a cappella octet. It all began when Ann and Koji were students at the University of Southern California (USC), the group’s name has two meanings: “ex Ilio” means “from Troy,” symbolizing their USC Trojan founding; and “exilio” which means “I spring forth”. The group features music by marginalized and underrepresented composers throughout history, as well as rising composers, seeking to help both spring forward into the public consciousness.
