Principal's Message

Angie Dillman

Hello AHS Families!

We are so excited to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year! Thanks to our tremendous community of skilled staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive families, Arcadia High School is an organization committed to the success of each and every student. Our purpose is to challenge and inspire students to make a positive and profound impact on their world. As we seek to mold our students into lifelong learners, we emulate that value by continuing to grow and improve our practices for high quality instruction and world class programs throughout our school.

High school is a time for students to truly explore their interests and develop previously unknown talents, both in the classroom and beyond. There are so many opportunities for students to challenge themselves with new and exciting activities, from learning a new language, performing on stage in front of family and friends, to running for student government offices. Students can even start their own clubs so there is truly something for everyone at AHS!

With all of this excitement and opportunity, there can also be times where students can become overwhelmed and we are here to help. A dedicated counselor is assigned to each student who will be with them starting in 9th grade and will continue to be alongside them all the way to graduation. Our counseling team includes a Wellness Counselor who is there when a little extra support is needed and who can help build healthy strategies in responding to stressful times. We are also excited to welcome our new College and Career Counselor, Ms. Joanna Moreno! Ms. Moreno will help students throughout their high school journey to explore different careers, learn more about university options, and walk you through the college selection and application process. You can stay up to date with everything going on at AHS by checking out the website, the student bulletin, and downloading the AHS app - Arcadia High Mobile.

Thank you all for your continued positive support of our students and for being a part of the amazing AHS community. It continues to be an honor and a privilege to serve as your principal and I look forward to another great year together!

All the best,

Angie
