Principal's Message

Angie Dillman

Hello AHS Families,

We are so excited to welcome you to the 2021-22 school year! Thanks to our supportive families, our dedicated staff, and our resilient students, the Arcadia High School community will remain strong and committed to the success of each and every one of our students. The coming year gives us the tremendous opportunity to hold on to all that we have learned about ourselves through these challenging times, including the knowledge that we are stronger when we stand together with compassion and empathy for each other.

As we begin a new school year, our staff will continue to grow in our profession to best serve our students. We are truly a community of lifelong learners at Arcadia High School and are continually growing and improving practices for high quality instruction and world class programs. Our staff is committed to preparing each and every one of our students to succeed.

Over the last year we have learned so much about the importance of community and how being together gives us so much support. Many of us may be feeling anywhere from anxious to excited about returning to school. We can all do our part in supporting our community members by recognizing that experiencing a broad range of emotions is normal and expected. We can lift each other up by being good listeners and reminding ourselves that we are surrounded by caring people who can help. We thrive when we all do our best, not just try to be the best.

We will be hosting on-going events throughout the year to help you stay healthy, informed and involved. Check the student bulletin and high school website for regular updates. Be sure to also check the AHS Counseling website regularly for information on college, career readiness, and wellness topics. Our counseling team is an amazing resource to support our students through their high school journey.

I am truly honored and thrilled to be your principal. Together, we will have a great year!

Sincerely,

Angie
