Aurora Public Schools TREP Scholars receive up to two free years of college & participate in support programming at Community College of Aurora or Metropolitan State University of Denver.

*TREP Scholars remain enrolled with Aurora Public Schools.  Scholars' high school graduation date aligns with completion of the TREP program.

Why Teaching?  Hear from some of our TREP Scholars....

"My mother was a teacher and growing up I was surrounded by the nobility and love that teachers have for their students. I would like to become a teacher to inspire and help shape someone's future just like my teachers did for me."

"Being a person of color, a minority of my teachers looked like me, and I was never sure if I could become a teacher since I was not the same as them.  That hasn’t stopped me from wanting to become an educator.  I want to be a role model for everyone but especially for young girls of color that have any doubt that they can become something."
