ASCENT

Accelerating Students through Concurrent Enrollment (ASCENT) is a fifth-year high school program that allows students to participate in college coursework the year after 12th grade. 

Aurora Public Schools ASCENT Scholars receive one free year of college & participate in support programming at Community College of Aurora, Metropolitan State University of Denver, or Pickens Technical College.  

*ASCENT Scholars remain enrolled with Aurora Public Schools. Scholars' high school graduation date aligns with completion of the program.
