6th-8th Virtuosos - Wednesdays

We have our first lowkey performance this Thursday, 9/24, at the Backyard Bash!!  🎶 The event runs from 5-7, but we will meet at the live music area by the little basketball hoop on the blacktop at 5:45 pm to watch a couple older students perform first, including one of our own Virtuosos, then be ready to  meet up with students from my other two after school performing ensembles (Junior Jam & Slam Jam)sing, dance, and play percussion instruments to the World Cup song "Dai Dai" at 6:00 pm!!  If you are not able to come to the Backyard Bash this year, or even if you're at another booth at the event, it's ok!! It's just going to be a fun way to join up and kick off the school year together as a musical family!! 🙌

Also, students have been really wanting some extra practice, particularly since I've been out sick recently - so we're going to have a voluntary rehearsal on Thursday before the event, 2:40 - 4:00 pm, for all three groups combined!!  Any students who want to attend can come, please reply to this email and let me know! Then students can go home and return for the Backyard Bash (the event starts at 5) or if they want to stay and help set up for the Bash, let me know that, as well!! 👊

Ohh, I also said students could try to wear green and yellow for the Backyard Bash!!  If you don't have green and yellow, they can wear black or white - or if they forget, it's no big deal! 💚💛
