Curricular Bands

Each curricular band meets five times a week DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. Participation in the following bands is WORTH A GRADE that counts toward the students overall GPA.

Beginning Band

Course Fee: $10

Prerequisite: This group traditionally consists of underclassmen and/or students with LESS THAN ONE YEAR of formal instruction on their instrument of choice. *DRUMMERS NEEDED

Intermediate band

Course Fee: $10

Prerequisite: This group traditionally consists of students of multiple grade level and/or students with 1-3 YEARS of formal instruction on their instrument of choice. *The EXCEPTION to this rule will be DRUMMERS with this period available. This group is currently combined with Advanced Band.

Honors Advanced Band

Course Fee: $10

Prerequisite: This group traditionally consists of upperclassmen and/or student with 3+ years of experience. It is currently combined with Intermediate Band. In future years, participation in this group will be decided by an AUDITION. The audition process for ensemble placement in THE FOLLOWING YEAR will take place AT THE END OF THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR.
