An Avenues Parallel Program (APP) student needs to attend daily at 10:20am (10:50am on Wednesday) until 3pm. We are able to be flexible with student schedules based on need, but it is highly recommended that students attend in-person classes as much as possible.

Students are given two periods of each of the core content courses they are working on, plus an additional elective support class (five periods in total). These elective classes are designed to help students with life skills and other useful ideas. Multilingual learners have an ELD block that focuses on these same ideas whilst bolstering their language development.

Core content courses are credit-bearing courses in the following subjects:

A student who is eligible for concurrent enrollment is encouraged to apply for a course with Pickens Technical College (PTC) or with the Community College of Aurora (CCA). The student's concurrent enrollment course will be part of the student's regular school schedule, which means that a student might only take one core content course per session with their concurrent enrollment course.
